AK47 x Black Domina Grow Diary – Vegetative Stage

Welcome to our AK47 x Black Domina grow diary. In this series, we’ll follow the development of this plant and share regular photos as it progresses through its different stages.

The plant shown here is currently in the vegetative stage. At this point, the most striking feature is the amount of lateral growth it has produced. Rather than developing as a simple single-stem plant, this AK47 x Black Domina has formed a wide, bushy structure with numerous branches competing for the upper canopy.

A Very Bushy AK47 x Black Domina

As you can see from the photo, the plant has developed a dense and vigorous structure. There are numerous secondary branches and growing tips throughout the canopy, giving the plant a broad appearance.

The foliage also shows some interesting variation. Many of the fan leaves are relatively long and narrow, while others have a broader appearance. This mixture of traits is interesting to see in a hybrid combining AK47 and Black Domina genetics.

Strong Lateral Development

One thing we particularly like about this plant is how much growth is occurring away from the main stem. Several branches have reached approximately the same height as the central growth, producing a relatively irregular but well-filled canopy.

There are already a large number of visible growing tips. The interior of the plant is particularly dense, with new shoots appearing between the larger fan leaves and established branches.

At this stage, the AK47 x Black Domina is definitely showing a bushy growth pattern rather than simply stretching vertically.

Current Appearance

Overall, the plant looks vigorous in this photograph. The leaves are well developed and there is plenty of fresh growth visible around the upper and central portions of the plant.

The unusual purple and pink colours visible on some leaves are largely caused by the LED lighting in the growing area, so they should not be confused with the plant’s natural pigmentation.

The uppermost leaves are also receiving considerably more direct light, which explains why some areas appear much brighter in the photograph.

What Happens Next?

The next stage should be particularly interesting. The plant already has a substantial amount of vegetation and many established branches, so we’ll be able to see how its structure changes as it matures.

We’ll continue updating this AK47 x Black Domina grow diary with new photographs so you can follow the plant from its current vegetative form through the later stages of its life cycle.

Stay tuned for the next AK47 x Black Domina grow diary update.
